Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty needs no introduction, thanks to his amazing body of work. He has not just played a hero on the silver screen but he also showed heroism in his real life, after all, he adopted a baby, whom he had found near a garbage bin. Yes, you read that right! Reportedly, Mithun’s adopted daughter Dishani Chakraborty was abandoned by her family and the actor found her sitting near a garbage bin. When Mithun learned about her situation, he decided to adopt the baby. 

As reported by Bollywoodshaadis, Dishani Chakraborty was born in Kolkata and is very passionate about acting. She was abandoned by her family and was found near a garbage bin. A few people noticed her and one of them took her home. When Mithun came to know about her heartbreaking story, he adopted the girl. Even his wife Yogita Bali supported his decision as the couple fell in love with the baby girl. They completed the paper works and adopted Dishani, who is the most pampered child in the family. Dishani completed her early education in India and then moved to Los Angeles, USA for her further studies. She completed her graduation in acting from New York Film Academy. Just like her father, she always wants to pursue her career in acting. In 2017, Dishani made her Hollywood debut with her short film ‘Gift’. She was last seen in a short film, ‘The Guest in 2022’ which received a lot of critical acclamation and even made it to the Creme de la Creme film festivals. 

Mithun is also a proud father to three boys-Mahakshay, Namashi, and Ushmey. On the work front, the actor was last seen in Vivek Agnihotri’s directorial The Kashmir Files.
